Skye von Syke is a gorgeous 12 month old German Shepherd. Skye’s puppy brain hasn’t caught up just yet with his big-boy body, so expect lots of goofball from this handsome fellow! If you look at his modeling photos, you can see the sweetest expression on his face. The camera picked up Skye’s essence, which is pure sweetheart. He is interested in other dogs in a “Hey, let’s play!” kind of way, not an “I’m the boss of you” kind. Skye came barreling out of the kennel, jumping on people to give them exuberant hugs, ready to zoom -- and with a bark of excitement for good measure. With a trainer he soon walked nicely down the street; believe it or not, he left his kennel as Jerry Lewis, and returned as Cary Grant. This dog is amazing. He was thrilled to get instruction and responded quickly to leash lessons. Stop. Go. Turn around. In 15 minutes, with a little focused instruction, he was able to figure out what he was supposed to do, and he did it perfectly. If you are willing to be kind and consistent, if you like an active dog who likes to play ball, if you know that Skye is willing to learn everything from you, this is the dog for you! Truly, the “Skye’s” the limit for our big wonderful pupperoon.
